Guiding Families Through Life’s TransitionsAbout
I am a natural problem solver and people person. Family law was the perfect fit for me, and I have developed a practice since 2009 exclusively helping families in transition. I truly enjoy working closely with my clients as they navigate the often turbulent experience of family conflict.
Opening my own office gave me the freedom to assist clients in processes that preserve resources and minimize the emotional cost of divorce. I’ve spent countless hours in the courtroom, arguing cases to Judges and Magistrates that are tasked to make decisions for your family. I am acutely aware of the risks associated with contested trials. There is no sure thing in litigation…rather, it is a gamble most of the time.
I am a trained Collaborative Law Attorney and Mediator. I utilize these skills to assist clients to develop creative and one-of-a-kind resolutions to their cases. My preference is to help clients stay out of court because they lose control of the outcome. Family law matters go to the core of who we are as individuals, and the outcomes impact the most important aspects of our lives. These decisions should not be left to individuals that know very little about your family.
I approach my work with compassion, strength, and integrity during one of the most difficult times in my clients’ lives. It is crucial that we develop a trusting professional relationship as I will provide you with objective advice about your options. You can count on me to be responsive to your needs and work strenuously to pursue your goals.
My practice includes Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court cases involving the division of assets and debts, including complex financial tracing and business valuations, the payment of spousal support and child support, child custody, and paternity issues. I am licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and the Commonwealth of Kentucky and frequently appear in Ohio counties of Hamilton, Warren, Clermont, Butler and Kenton, Campbell, and Boone counties in Kentucky.
When not working for my clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and young daughter, exploring our city, wineries, new eateries, and the newest adventures we can find.
“The negotiation and resolution of family law issues is delicate and complex. I provide professional legal advice while maintaining a compassionate view of the highly emotional aspects of terminating a marriage and providing for the care and support of children.”
