I went to law school hoping to become a family lawyer and have exclusively practiced family law since 2009. I want to help people through the most difficult times. I believe it is important to get through this process and transition with dignity and respect.
I practice in all areas of domestic relations, including divorce, dissolution, prenuptial agreements, property settlements, spousal support, and parenting matters, including child custody, parenting time, child support, and grandparents’ rights. I regularly appear in Hamilton, Warren, and Clermont Counties’ Domestic Relations and Juvenile Courts.
I have extensive trial experience, but I truly believe the best way to approach terminating marriage is through the collaborative process. I think it is important as an attorney to see things from my clients’ perspectives. If I were going through the process, I would want to choose the collaborative model because we can create some of the most creative options that truly suit the needs of a particular family.
I want to develop a personal connection with each of my clients because I truly care about them. Knowing a client’s unique needs helps me better negotiate on their behalf or advocate for their position. I will always be straightforward about a process and what my clients may expect.
On a personal level, I am a lifelong Cincinnatian, having attended Indian Hill High School, where I have served as a legal advisor to the Indian Hill Mock Trial team for the past decade. My talented team has provided me the opportunity to travel to the National High School Mock Trial Tournament in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Indianapolis, Indiana.
